The package also includes a visit to Carnoustie for the world-renowned Championship Course, giving you two hosts of The Open in one trip.
It is every golfers’ dream to play over the world-famous Old Course and follow in the footsteps of every great golfing champion over the Swilcan Bridge on the 18th Hole. Our extended 6-night package has been created to not only deliver value for money, where possible, but to introduce you to some of the historic golf courses in the area surrounding St Andrews alongside this you have a choice of accommodation located in the heart of St. Andrews best suited to your budget, from the 3* Ardgowan Hotel to the 5* Old Course Hotel.
Your golfing itinerary not only includes everyone’s bucket list venue, The Old Course, but also one of its younger brothers, the New Course (only New in name as opened in 1895!) or Jubilee Course. In the surrounding Fife area, you will play over another course that opened in 1895, Crail’s Balcomie Links as well the clifftop located Castle Course just on the outskirts of St Andrews. Finally, your second host venue of The Open, the Championship Course at Carnoustie which has its reputation as the toughest course on the Open rotation. Your golfing skills will be fully tested over the links where Francesco Molinari became Champion Golfer in 2018.
