St Andrews is renowned for the world famous Old Course, but as that tee time is the hardest ticket in golf, it’s also surrounded by some excellent golfing options that are much easier to secure. Fairmont’s Torrance Course is the more challenging of the two courses at the resort and has recently hosted several Championship events on both the Senior and European Tour, while the Kittocks Course is the more visually stunning course but has also hosted Championship events in the past. The Dukes course is a little inland from St Andrews and offers challenging golf over a fantastic layout with some stunning views over the town and the surrounding areas.
Overall, this is a fantastic value package for those looking for a short break based in St Andrews while playing Championship golf venues.
