Requirement for a UK ETA for entry to the United Kingdom.
Valid from 8th January 2025 for Non-European nations
Valid from 2nd April 2025 for European nations (applications open 5th March 2025)
From 8th January 2025 (2nd April 2025 for European nations), all travellers to the UK, except British and Irish citizens, are required to obtain an electronic travel authorisation (ETA) to enter any of the nation’s countries, Scotland, England, Wales or Northern Ireland. Travellers holding dual nationality are not required to apply for an ETA so long as they are using their British or Irish passport to travel.
Full guidance from the UK government and the application process is available at the undernoted website:

ETAs will cost £10 per person and will be valid for 2 years or until your passport expiry date, whichever is sooner.
The easiest way to apply is via the UK ETA app on smart phones. The links below give access to download the app for Google and Android phones and advice and requirements for using the app.

If you cannot apply using the app then an online application process is also possible, the link to start an application this way is below

The process only takes a few minutes and decisions will be given within 3 days if not much sooner.
