This bespoke tour was created to allow our clients to see both sides of Scotland and visit some classic links courses along the way.
After arrival in Edinburgh, the clients were collected by their concierge driver and transferred to St Andrews in a luxury, VIP coach, checking in to the boutique Hotel Du Vin for three nights. This hotel is located just 200 yards from the world-famous Old Course. Our clients then enjoyed a leisurely day sightseeing around the historic golfing town.
Golf on the East of Scotland was played over two of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship courses at Kingsbarns and the Championship course at Carnoustie, also a host venue for The Open Championship.
The clients then transferred over to the Ayrshire Coast, on the West of Scotland, stopping at the tricky links at Western Gailes before checking in to the luxurious Trump Turnberry Resort for three nights. The following day they played the stunningly updated Ailsa course at Turnberry where the changes have made what many consider as “the best course on the Open rota” into an even better challenge.
To finish, our clients were treated to “The Prestwick Experience” where lunch is taken as a group in the members’ dining room within the clubhouse after a morning round of golf on the course recognised as the Birthplace of The Open.
